About Me
life preserved in photos
At Gold Coast Family Photography, I have and always will be about families. Danielle has spent most of her adult life documenting her, and others, important moments through photos. When she gained two nieces in the span of 6 weeks, she began documenting them and her hobby grew into something more. Since then, Danielle has been specializing in every aspect of family portraiture: from capturing your newborn’s adorably tiny features to their first taste of birthday cake! Danielle will put your little ones at ease, taking a fun and easygoing attitude to all of our sessions, patiently waiting for that one perfect moment.
Photo sessions can take place in our studio in Manhasset or your home (especially important for the newest additions of your family); we will work with you to customize the photo shoot around the thing that matters most - you and your loved ones!
Frequently Asked Questions
More About What We Do
If I am interested in maternity photos, when is the best time to take them?
Our Maternity sessions come as an add-on to any newborn session booking or baby package. We love taking them anytime after 6 months. You should be over the worst of any morning sickness and should have more energy! Our Maternity sessions include hair and makeup for mom as well as a few drinks for Dad.
How do I book a session?
Please use Contact Us to inquire about booking. Once we've established that we're a good fit, your preferences and dates, we'll give you a link to our Booking page on this site where you can go ahead and book. We will take a deposit upfront and then leave you the choice to pay on our website or in person the day of the session.
When is the best time to take newborn photos?
The normal answer is anytime 7-14 days. However, if for any reason you have a preemie or don't feel comfortable having someone in your home, we can do up to 21 days and still get beautiful shots!
Even if you miss that window, starting baby photos at 30+ days old will still give you the opportunity to capture their little details.
